DAY 1 ARRIVE LUANG PRABANG
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Following is a visit to the
Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artefacts. Also tour the impressive stupa of
Wat Visoun and the shrines of
Wat Aham and
Wat Mai.
DAY 2 LUANG PRABANG
Cruise on
the Mekong River stopping at
Xiengmene to visit
Wat Long Khun, the limestone cave
Tham Sakkarin, and B
an Xiengmene village. Then explore the mysterious
Pak Ou Caves with their thousands of
Buddha statues before stopping at Ban Xanghai villag to see
local rice wine made.
DAY 3 LUANG PRABANG
Cross the Mekong River to the picturesque pottery village of
Ban Chan before returning to visit the
Phousi Market full of local produce including dried buffalo skin, tea and saltpetre. Then see traditional crafts villages at
Ban Ouay,
Ban Ou and
Ban Thapene followed by a tour to the beautiful
Khouangsi Waterfall.DAY 4 LUANG PRABANG - VIENTIANE
After arriving in
Vientiane Asia’s most relaxed capital, spend the day exploring the capital’s most famous landmarks, That
Luang and
Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Also take part in the unique and traditional Lao
‘baci’ welcome ceremony.
DAY 5 VIENTIANE
Continuing on visit Vientiane by foot and see the
Wat Ong Tue,
Wat Inpeng and
Wat Haisok. Pass by the major shopping area, tour
the Central Market Talad Sao where fresh food, household goods, souvenirs, textiles, gold, silver and antiques are all on sale.
DAY 6 VIENTIANE - PHNOM PENH
On arrival in
Phnom Penh you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon begin with a brief city orientation and a visit to the
National Museum, a treasure trove of
Angkorian and
pre-Angkorian artefacts. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure.
DAY 7 PHNOM PENH
Today visit the
Royal Palace and the incredible solid silver-floored
Silver Pagoda,
the chilling Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and
the ‘Killing Fields’ at Choeung Ek. Also time to visit one of Phnom Penh’s many vibrant markets.
DAY 8 PHNOM PENH - KAMPONG THOM
Leaving
Phnom Penh in the morning travel north witnessing traditional rural scenes on the way, visit a local silk farm, hilltop temples and pretty
Kampong Cham nestled on the Mekong River. Upon arrival you are free to explore the town on your own.

DAY 9 KAMPONG THOM - SIEM REAP
Explore
Sambor Prei Kuk - the site of the
Chenla-era capital and its temples. Stop and walk across the ancient stone bridge in
Kampong Kdei built 1,000 years ago. Then take a boat ride on
Tonle Sap Lake,
the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of
the richest sources of freshwater fish in the world.
DAY 10 SIEM REAP
This morning set out for
Angkor Thom city with its 600 years old temples and complete our tour with a visit to the
Bayon. Before returning to our hotel climb up to the top of
Bakeng a hill temple to enjoy a wonderful sunset overlooking
Angkor Wat.
DAY 11 SIEM REAP
Exploration of the Angkor Complex continues -
Banteay Srei, Ta Prohm,
Banteay Kdei and later
Preah Kanh,
Neak Pean, Ta Som,
East Mebon and
Pre Rup are visited in a full day of touring this historic area. Head back to your hotel for some free time.
DAY 12 DEPART SIEM REAP
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
