This journey through Asia's hottest destinations. Start in charming Ha No journey to the world heritage site of unique Ha Long bay before flying to the former Imperial City of Hue. In Hoi An old town walk its narrow shop-lined streets and see some of its 200-year old houses. Bustling Ho Chi Minh City, incredible Cu Chi Tunnels and mighty Mekong Delta are the highlights in your southern Viet Nam program. In Cambodia wander the quiet capital of Phnom Penh before heading to the truly amazing temples of Angkor.
DAY 1 ARRIVE HA NOI
On arrival at
Ha Noi Noi Bai Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Af\ welcome drink and tour briefing is followed by a city orientation tour of the old quarter by cyclo and a performance of
Water Puppetry.
DAY 2 HA NOI
Tour President
Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum,
House on stilts,
the One Pillar Pagoda and
Temple of Literature, the
Museum of Ethnology and
Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Enjoying the tranquillity of
Hoan Kiem Lake before you explore
Ha Noi’s Old Quarter on you own.

DAY 3 HA NOI - HA LONG BAY
Travelling to
the World Heritage site of
Ha Long Bay in the morning board your junk and enjoy a welcome drink followed by a superb seafood lunch while cruising through the bay. Also explore one of the beautiful grottoes, swim and after dinner try some night fishing.
DAY 4 HALONG BAY - HA NOI - HUE
More swimming and brunch while cruising to the harbour for return trip to Ha Noi. Stop at
Dong Trieu ceramic village, see artisans create superb vases and other masterpieces using age old skills. Take a flight to Hue and the rest of the time is free at leisure.
DAY 5 HUE
This morning stroll the paths of
the Imperial Citadel and glimpse the royal splendour of a different time. Later visit the ornate tomb of
King Khai Dinh, followd by a boat ride on the
Perfume River to serene
Thien Mu Pagoda and the majestic tomb of
King Ming Mang.
DAY 6 HUE - DA NANG - HOI AN
A drive along the highway one takes you over
Hai Van Pass and into
Da Nang where you see
the famous Cham Museum and then on to
Marble Mountains for a panoramic view over the
South China Sea. Continuing on travel to the old Merchant Town of
Hoi An.
DAY 7 HOI AN
This morning a guided introduction to
Hoi An where restored shop houses,
Chinese Assembly Halls,
Pagodas, shared water wells and the Japanese covered bridge paint a vivid picture. The remainder of the day is free to explore Hoi An at your own pace or head to nearby
Cua Dai Beach and relax under an umbrella.
DAY 8 HOI AN - HO CHI MINH CITY
A free morning to wander through the town which was once a flourishing port during
Nguyen dynasty. Transfer to the airport in
Da Nang for your flight to
Ho Chi Minh City. Meet your guide and transfer to our hotel. The remainder of the day is free at leisure.
DAY 9 HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS
Explore the city’s historic landmarks including
Notre Dame Cathedral, the former US Embassy and experience the excitement of the market activities in
Cho Lon,
Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinatown. In the afternoon head out of
Saigon to explore the phenomenal underground tunnel network at
Cu Chi.
DAY 10 VINH LONG - CAN THO
Heading south to
Vinh Long board our boat to explore a floating market, visit the craft industries and then the orchards of
Vinh Long to enjoy a lunch of local specialties. In late afternoon journey to
Can Tho where you will have an overnight stay.
DAY 11 CAN THO - CHAU DOC
A morning boat ride take you to the remarkable floating market at
Cai Rang and a fruit orchard where we can sample delicious tropical fruits and learn about the Delta ‘s way of life from our friendly local hosts. We then travel on to
Chau Doc.
DAY 12 CHAU DOC - PHNOM PENH
Depart Chau Doc and journey by boat along
Mekong River to
Phnom Penh. In the afternoon, you will visit the
Royal Place,
Silver Pagoda,
Raung Damrei Museum and
National Museum of Fine Arts, Independence monument and the
Central Market.
DAY 13 PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP
This morning tour the chilling
Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing at
Choeung Ek. In the afternoon, transfer to airport for your flight to
Siem Reap. Upon arrival drive to and climb the hill top temple of
Phnom Pakheng to watch the sunset before heading to your hotel.
DAY 14 SIEM REAP
Set out for nearby Angkor Thom city with its 600 years old temples and explore the many sites within its walls:
The Bayon, Thommanon,
Chau Say Tevoda,
Terrace of Elephants and
Leper King befoe heading to
Ta Prohm. In the afternoon visit to
the World Heritage wonder of Angkor Wat.
DAY 15 DEPART SIEM REAP
Free at leisure until transferring to the airport for your ongoing flight.
