Upon arrival Vientiane, transferred to the hotel for leaving luaguages and there will be a tour of Vientiane. Although it is a capital city Vientiane has a feel of a small provincial town. The wide boulevards are almost devoid of traffic, and with its many temples, the city retain the feel of another age. Our tour includes visit the major temples of Wats Sisaket, Prakeo, and the impresive That Luang Stupa, the country's most important monument. We will also see the Arch of Triumph, the National Museum and the main market. Lunch at the Hotel and afternoon at leisure. In the evening, following the meal at Koua Lao restaurant, you can enjoy dinner and traditional performance.

Day 2: Vientiane - Nam Ngum Lake (B/L)

Following breadfast, we drive out of the town and full day excursion by road to Nam Ngum Lake (100km), on the way visit traditional salt distillation of Ban Geun, Picnic lunch at Nam Ngum Lake and then take a boat trip to discover tropical islands on the lake. On the way back to Vientiane, visit Vang Xang ( archeological site with Buddha carving dating back to 11 century) and overnight in Vientiane.

Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, time to leave our sleepy city and transfer to the airport for departure flight.
