After breakfast we walk to the Thai border. Tourleader takes care of transport of the lugage of the pax. The Mekong river forms the border betweem Thailand and Laos. We walk down a small slope to the ferry's waiting at the docls and cross the river. You will be required to carry your own luggage at this point. On the Lao side of the river at Ban Houeixay we will walk up the embankment to the small building,which houses the Lao customs. After passing through customs we will meet our Lao local guide and comtinue driving to Luang Namtha. On the way we will visit Ban Nam Khok where the local people make Lao wishky,afterwards we visit Ban Nam Chang, a Laentan tribe village. We expect to arriver Luang Namtha in the afternoon.

In two hours we will drive to Muang Singh. On the way we'll visit the minorities such as: Lantan, Akha,Hmong,we expect to arrive  before the sunset.

After breakfast, we drive to Oudomxay via Luang Namtha. On the way we'll have time to visit some dwellings of hill tribes. Upon arrival we will check in at our hotel.

Climbing out of the Oudom Xai Valley, we are rewarded with some amazing views. Most of the villages are inhavited by the Hmong people who are distinctive in the way they dress. On arrival in Nong Khiaw, we will check in our bungaliw near the riverside.

After breakfast we continue our trip with a very special part! By wooden sapan we will explore the greenish Ou river with it's steep surroudings of limestone cliffs. On the way we will visit thet Pac Ou caves, we will stop for lunch at a small local restaurant on the way. Further upstream,near the Pac Ou village and opposite mouth of Nam Ou River, we find the Tham Ting caves that emerge directly beside the river where literally hundreds of Buddha images cover the surrounding interior walls. The climb to the caves is quite a challenging one as there are hundreds of steps to reach them. The caves are actually on two different levels-the upper and lower caves. After exploring them we continue on toward Luang Prabang, with a short stop en route to learn about the traditional process of making local rice alcohol or whisky and weaving. We will arrive Luang Pravang before sunset.
