DAY 01 ARRIVE – DONG KRALOR – RATTANAKIRI (LD)
Warmly welcome with our guide at Dong Kralor border (Cambodia – Laos border). After completion of immigration and entering Cambodia you are met our guide and driver direct to Rattanakiri.
Banlung is capital of Rattanakiri nicknamed “The Red City” because of the omnipresent laterite. Upon arrival at Banlung we transfer to your hotel for check in. We leave our hotel and depart on bumpy road for the discovery of the surrounding waterfalls. The rest of evening we will spend time to swim at the volcanic lake of giant Loam – , superb places surrounded by pristine rainforest. Take your time for swimming or take a walk around the lake.
Overnight at Terres Rouges Lodge (superb house built of precious wood, located by a lake, in the middle of a wonderful garden).
DAY 02 BANLUNG EXPLORATION (BLD)
Today you will travel on bumpy road to discover the waterfalls that surround the area, including the stunning Teuk Cha. Then, head northwest across lush bamboo forests to the village of Voeune Sai, a Chinese enclave of Cambodian territory where most villagers don't even speak Khmer. Then you will take a boat to the village of Ka Choan, home to some superb totems. Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 03 BANLUNG – KRATIE (BL)
This morning we depart Banlung for Kratie. Arrive in Kratie, city tour of this small provincial town with its good examples of sumptuous colonial architecture. This tiny town on the Mekong is an unexpected delight, with a relaxing, indolent atmosphere. The journey begins along the Mekong River basin through the villages of Sambok, Sre Sbov and Phumi Prek Preah. The Mekong River, which rises in Tibet, flows 315 km through Cambodia before continuing on through Vietnam to the sea.
Further north stop at the best riverside vantage point from which to view the rare freshwater Irrawady dolphins which can be best seen late afternoon. Overnight in Kratie.
DAY 04 KRATIE – KOMPONG CHAM – KOMPONG THOM (BL)
We visit morning market at small town of Kratie before leaving to Kompong Cham, visit Wat Nokor also called Nokor Bachey Pagoda is an 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine made of sandstone and laterite with a large reclining Buddha and numerous alcoves containing Buddha images. Then depart for Kampong Thom (138km from Kampong Cham). The journey will takes approximately three hours. Overnight in Kompong Thom.

DAY 05 KOMPONG THOM – UDONG STUPAS – PHNOM PENH (BL)
Morning we depart to the archeological sight of Sambor Prei Kuk, which is dotted with hundred Pre-Angkor styled temples. The site, part of the Chenla Kingdom, includes an area of nearly 1000 acres enclosed by double walls, and hundreds temples and towers; its construction predates Angkor Wat by several centuries.The road conditions are very poor, but the spectacular scenery, with a mixture of temples and forest makes the hardship all worthwhile. After seeing this landmark we make our way towards Phnom Penh and pass through various Khmer traditional villages.

En route, stop at Udong then visit the various temples and the three large stupas where the ashes of three former Kings are preserved. Next, visit the most impressive structure of the site, the "Vihara of the 18-Cubit Buddha". Phnom Penh – the city retains its traditional Khmer and colonial charm. French villas along tree-lined boulevards remind the visitor that the city was once considered the gem of Southeast Asia. Recent political changes have triggered an economic boom of sorts, with new hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs springing up around the city. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
