A unique join program of 2 days full board over the mighty Mekong River. Full board program which starts either in North Thailand to Luang Prabang with a stop in Pak Beng or v.v. Overnight is in the Luangsay Lodge on the banks of the Mekong River in Laos. Program Down:

Day 1: Houeisay - Pakbeng (L, D)
LuangSay boat leaves HoueiSay pier at 09:00 hrs for a cruise down the Mekong to Pakbeng. En route one stop is made to observe the rural life of the river tribes at Ban Gon Durn (Tai Leu) weaving village along the Mekong. A buffet lunch is served on board. The boat arrives at Luang Say Lodge before sunset for overnight stay. Dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Mekong River.
Day 2: Pakbeng - Pak Ou - Luang Prabang (B, L) Full breakfast at Lodge. (Optional: walk to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding village of minorities exchange their goods). At 08:30 board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. A short stop to discover a Hmong village before having buffet lunch on board. Continue to Pak-Ou village at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, visit Tam Ting “Caves of a thousand Buddha’s”. On the way to Luang Prabang a brief stop is made to observe the traditional process of obtaining local ride alcohol. Arrive at Luang Prabang before sunset.
