08:00 AM air-con Land Rovers will begin pick-up from various hotels around Phuket. Depending on the season, the weather and your wishes; your guide will choose the best route for the day. It will most likely start with a soft ride upwards into the hills of the island center. Scenic routes afford stunning views of the Island as well as a glimpse of the local culture. Prepare yourself for the adventurous ride down the mountain through a semi-retired fruit orchard. This safe yet hair-raising ride in our 4WD vehicles is a thrill to enjoy. You'll regret its ending. Enjoy a coffee break at a local coffee shop. Continue to the Phuket Rubber Research Center, where your guide will tell you all about the process of how rubber is tapped and processed. Explore the rain forest during a jungle trek at Ton Sai National Park. At Leam Sae Village we will offer you a special lunch of local delicacies in open-air Phuu-Saay Restaurant at the seaside. After lunch, watch trained monkeys picking coconuts, and continue to Thalang Museum, which provides background information on the local culture and heritage. At the end of the day you will have seen coconut trees, rice farms, pineapple fields, a rubber plantation, fruit orchards, shrimp farms, isolated beaches, plants and birds of numerous kinds. You will have discovered Phuket Island in a non-touristy way.
