This honeymoon will take you to all places in Thailand and even cross the border to Laos. In Laos make you a romantic cruise on the mighty Mekong River. This cruise makes several stops in Laos, take a look at the Ban Gon Durn tribes, and marvel at the Tam Ting "Caves of a thousand Buddhas" along the Nam Ou River. Finish the cruise Luang Pabang and fly back to Bangkok to continue the journey and end up in beautiful Krabi.
Travel itinerary
Day 1 - Bangkok
Arrive at Bangkok Airport. Welcome and private transfers to your hotel in near the Chao Praya River. Free at leisure and overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 - Bangkok (B, L)
After breakfast. Half day Grand Palace and Wat Pho with local lunch. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 – Bangkok – Chiang Mai (B)
After breakfast. Half day bicycle color of Bangkok -in the morning. ( we have arrange late check out time in hotel) Night train to Chiang Mai.
Day 4 – Chiang Mai (B)
private transfer from Chiang Mai train station to hotel. Half day visit of the Doi Suthep mountain temple and local lunch. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 5 – Chiang Mai – Chang Rai (B)
After breakfast free at leisure till private transfer to Chang Rai. Overnight in Chang Rai
Day 6 - Chiang Rai – Chiang Khong (B, L)
Early Transfer from Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong. To join the Lanjia Lodge program. Overnight at the Lanjia Lodge,
Day 7 –Chiang Khong - Houeisay - Pakbeng (B,L, D)
After early breakfast transfer to Houeisay Pier. LuangSay boat leaves HoueiSay pier at 09:00 hrs for a cruise down the Mekong to Pakbeng. En route one stop is made to observe the rural life of the river tribes at Ban Gon Durn (Tai Leu) weaving village along the Mekong. A buffet lunch is served on board. The boat arrives at Luang Say Lodge before sunset for overnight stay. Dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Mekong River.
Day 8 Pakbeng - Pak Ou - Luang Prabang (B, L)
Full breakfast at Lodge. (Optional: walk to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding village of minorities exchange their goods). At 08:30 board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. A short stop to discover a Hmong village before having buffet lunch on board. Continue to Pak-Ou village at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, visit Tam Ting “Caves of a thousand Buddha’s”. On the way to Luang Prabang a brief stop is made to observe the traditional process of obtaining local ride alcohol. Arrive at Luang Prabang before sunset.
Day 9 - Luang Prabang (B)
After Breakfast free at leisure.
Day 10 – Luang Prabang – Bangkok- Krabi
After breakfast, go to Luang Prabang airport flight to Bangkok and then connection flight to Krabi. After arrival. Transfer from Krabi Airport to hotel/resort. If Koh Lanta boat transfer from Krabi to Koh Lanta.
Day 11 – till Day 13 Krabi (B)
After breakfast free at leisure.
Day 14 Krabi - BKK (B)
After breakfast free at leisure until time to check out and transfer to the airport. Arrive Bangkok Airport and connect with flight back home or to your next destination.
