The Fern resort With its 30 wooden Shan-style bungalows, this resort is located in a jungle valley and is considered by many as the perfect retreat for nature lovers. The Fern Resort is just a ten-minute drive to the town of Mae Hong Son. It is also close to the Mae Surin National Park. The three-star resort can arrange many nature-inspired activities, like mountain trekking, bird watching, elephant rides, and cycling. The outdoor restaurant has a spectacular view of the sunset from the terrace, where guests can eat authentic local dishes, like fried fern. The resort is also known for its outdoor barbecue.

     Nestled in a lush valley outside the town of Mae Hong Son, in the mountains of Northern Thailand, you find this beautiful place for nature lovers! The sounds of running water and the peaceful jungle setting is pure relaxation. We are the place for the perfect hide-away!

    Our 30 wooden bungalows are built in the local Shan Style and are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Experience the sights and sounds of unspoiled nature! Our friendly and warm staff will make you feel at home right away!

    There is always something to watch and to see around our rice fields! You are very welcome to join the work in the field - try to plant or harvest rice yourself!

Rooms
     30 wooden bungalows are built in the local Shan style scattered on former rice paddies.

To let you be as close to nature as possible there is no TV and telephone in the rooms - here you can enjoy the sounds of the surrounding jungle, the floating waters and the relaxing atmosphere.
